Course objectives
Participants should understand the difference between CFC, HCFC, HFC
Participants should understand material make up and oil compatibly
Participants should understand the difference of mineral oil and polyol esters oil.
Participants should be able to diagnose problems from gages and temperature of pipe and components in the system
Course Involves
Introduction to refrigerants chemistry, Temperature pressure relationship,
lubricants, filter driers, leak detection with the HFC refrigerants.
The effect of new refrigerants on condenser circuit sub cooling flash gas normal
condenser condition with the HFC Refrigerants‑
Safety and handling, toxicity, inhalation, skin contact, leaks, flammability thermal stability.
Mechanical refrigeration cycle, saturated state, gauges, bottle of refrigerant, heat versa saturation temperature.
Evaporation coil function superheat airflow psychometrics fixed metering and expansion valves.
Charging, the charts superheat, pressure curves, TXV charging curves.
R41 OA Piping General information liquid line sizing, Suction line sizing.
Class Is 8 Hours credit
The course is design to increase the awareness of Master contractors and Journeyman of the importance of new refrigerates the HFC which have replaced all of the old
CFC and HCFC which were the old R 12, R22, R502 and many other lesser known The new oil used with HFC as a great problem that this program is design to introduce to the participants
