Course objectives
Participants should understand what Electrical Control system are,

Participants should understand what they consist of
participants should understand what type are out in the real world

Participants should be able to read the schematic diagrams participants should be able to trouble shoot the control system.

Course Involves
Control system types, what are control systems.
Schematics legend, diagrams of components.
Diagrams of simple control to whole system and the different types.
Individual control how they work.
Sensor the different types of pressure, temperature, humidity.
Power sources for controls thermopiles, batteries, transformers, line voltage.

Circuit protection fuses circuit barker's thermal overloads.
Control valves Control loop
Control actions thermostats direct or reverse acting reset control
Relays, contactors, Special relays, Starting, voltage, current, lockout, time delays, on make, on brake, thermostat 24 to line voltage for electric heat, Blower control, defrost control, Thermocouple, Ignition
Step control Economizer Digital controls very basic and brief
Class is 8 hours credit

The course is design to increase the awareness of Master contractors and Journeyman of the importance of the control system and how complex they may be and how easily it is to brake it down into simple circuits parts
